Stephen Hawking raises his voice against technology threat, saves humanity

British Physicists, Stephen Hawking finally rose his voice while talking about humanity and technology. According to him, the fast pace technology oriented world have become a grave threat to humanity, and only world government can rescue humans from this danger. Why is World Government doing?

Stephen Hawking has raised his voice against global warming, extinction of unusual species, greenhouse effect, humanity threat created by artificial intelligence and so on. Finally, Stephen Hawking has raised his voice against technology that is slowly but rapidly killing humanity as in whole. Stephen said that he looked back on his life with gratitude and towards the years to come with cautious hope.

However, Stephen Hawking is also worried about the fact that humans may not have the skills as a species to stay alive. If humanity is to survive to see the future, then we might need to form a world government, Hawking said.

Stephen Hawking also added, “We need to be quicker to identify such threats and act before they get out of control. This might mean some form of world government. But that might become a tyranny. All this may sound a bit doom-laden, but I am an optimist. I think the human race will rise to meet these challenges. Since civilisation began, aggression has been useful in as much as it has definite survival advantages. It is hard-wired into our genes by Darwinian evolution. Now, however, technology has advanced at such a pace that this aggression may destroy us all by nuclear or biological war,” he added.

“We need to control this inherited instinct by our logic and reason,” Hawking was quoted in front of the media. He also argued upon the fact that there were several other new challenges too. Some challenges among these, which Stephen Hawking talked about was the massive environmental problems and his grave concern that artificial intelligence could supplant humans. Earlier, once in an interview, Hawking warned that the creation of powerful artificial intelligence may turn out to be “the worst thing ever to happen to humanity” despite its potential benefits.

Stephen Hawking, who all through his career have spoken a lot about problems related to environmental issues and personal rivalries, have managed to reaching the ears of many people. His speech on how artificial intelligence can supplant human race was highly liked by individuals all over the world. Hawking is of the opinion that, whatever problem human race is facing due to fast paced technology oriented lifestyle can be solved, only with the help of World Government.
