A High-Level Whistleblower Alleged NOAA for Manipulating Climate Change Data

Debates regarding climate change have taken a speedy and unexpected twist after the allegation brought up by a high-level Whistleblower against NOAA for manipulating climate change data. The time-honored debate on climate change went nuclear on Sunday over a hotheaded allegation brought up by a Whistleblower stating that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA) has manipulated the precise climate change data to move a political agenda forward. The Whistleblower also alleged NOAA to hide the exact reports regarding global warming “pause” and influencing Paris Climate Change Protocol.

Dr. John Bates, the former chief scientist at the National Climatic Data Center in Asheville, N.C., who retired last year has reported to Daily Mail, claiming that NOAA’s 2015 research was preordained for influencing the data of global warming “pause” as well as rushing for time for paper’s publication to manipulate national and international negotiations on climate policy and Paris Accord, which focused on capping climate change”.

He also accused that, “the lead author of NOAA’s 2015 “pausebuster” study was an opinionated stab to “discredit” the climate change pause through “barefaced manipulation of scientifically integrated guidelines as well as the standards of the scientific publication.” In his statement to Daily Mail, Dr. John also said that, Thomas Karl, the lead author of NOAA’s study and the former director of NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information intentionally did so by “commanding on the aftermaths of survey and scientific decisions and maximized the intensity of global warming and minimized certification regarding climate change pause.”

The Daily Mail report, published on Sunday also reveals a landmark paper of NOAA, embroidering the impacts and intensity of global warming. It accused NOAA to make a rush through to time for publication of reports for influencing the Paris accord on climate change, endorsed by nearly 200 nations. According to Dr John Bates, the America-based National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has breached its own guidelines, scientific integrity, and standard of measuring climate change for promoting a political influence over the world and international deliberations regarding climate change.

The report of Daily Mail also claimed that, the report of NOAA on climate change’s pause was entirely based on deceptive and unverified data and was aimed at creating the maximum influence on world leaders like US’s former President Barack Obama and David Cameron at the UN climate symposium, held in Paris, back in 2015.
