World’s 1st Floating Apple Store opened at Singapore

On September 10th, 2020, Singapore opened its first floating retail shop built with an emerging glass dome. It is named Apple Marina Bay Sands”. Cupertino-based iPhone led the opening of this amazing dome-like store. The architecture was nicely oriented and it looks as if a sphere is floating on the water.

Also, it is situated in the most famous part of the city so the shop will become one of the centers of a good audience. There is no chance that people are not going to visit it.

Apple CEO, Tim Cook said, “The store is versatile on its own and has a huge collection of all the possible apple products, also as it is situated at a spectacular location, it offers everything that a buyer might feel attracting”. Further, he added, “Enjoy the mesmerizing view”.

The store’s architecture is highly designed in a way that balances both the sight and store experience. The dome-like structure is said to be supported by 114 glass pieces along with 10 lean straight doorsteps for overall connection. The design is overall built at its best.

Apple has taken some motivation from an architectural sight, Pantheon which is located in Rome. Apple stated that the dome comprises an eye at the center of the dome through which all the light converges into rays that happen to travel in space.

The inside of the dome is also uniquely built with the glass also lined up with tailored baffles, that are unique in themselves. They are placed following certain angles that follow all the rules of physics at night and provide an uncanny effect at night, which is said to beautiful at its own.

There also happened to be some trees that add so much to this place. The store has put several trees in the interior itself same as the Singapore’s green garden city. The tress along with aesthetics provides shades and soft light which makes the retail shop a place to visit.

The retail shop will provide all the services of Apple, be it with old apple products, all the technical support as well as so many apple accessories.
