InfoSum Raised Fund And Appointed A New Chairman

InfoSum, a Data firm, has raised around fifteen million dollars and appoints former AT&T leader Brian Lesser as executive chairman. Brian Lesser was the former Chief Executive of AT&T Inc’s advertising unit Xandr. InfoSum, a UK based company, provides technology that enables advertisers, ad agencies, and media businesses to work collectively on advertising promotion without needing to share sensitive end-user data.

Fund Raising Program

The new finance funding comes at a time when apprehensions about the utilization of data are prevalent and regulation like the California Consumer Act has been approved to safeguard data privacy. Chief executive and founder of InfoSum, Nick Halstead, stated that Advertisers, which buy advertising space, and news businesses, sellers of Ad space have conventionally had to launch their data to a third party, which would evaluate and return the results.

Advertisers could then check if probable buyers of their product were viewers of that media group, but transferring data to a third party entity is an out-of-date system loaded with issues from an observance standpoint, lesser said. Lesser earlier managed Xandr, which was put together to help advertisers enhance target users using AT&T phone, internet, and TV information, before resigning in March this year.

InfoSum – An Era of Technical Advancement

He joined InfoSum’s board in April 2020. If the advertiser and News companies both use InfoSum, they can create storage space within their data systems, and InfoSum’s technology would equate the data without it ever leaving the owner’s control, Lesser informed the press. This will assist both brands and even the customary TV companies, which are progressively making use of customer records, he summed up. “Brands show up to a transaction knowing precisely who they want to advertise to,” Lesser stated.
