PM Narendra Modi’s Twitter Account Hacked

The account of the personal website of PM Narendra Modi was hacked, confirmed Twitter. It further added that it was aware of the activity and took steps to secure the hacked account. It also followed a series of cryptic tweets.

Twitter said it knew about the incident, acknowledged the hacking of PM Modi’s website, and took measures to protect the compromised account. A spokesperson for Twitter told Reuters news agency they are actively investigating the situation and are not aware of any additional accounts being affected at this time.

In a series of tweets, the messages posted on PM Modi’s personal website’s Twitter account, which goes through the handle narendramodi_in, read: “I appeal to all of you to generously donate to PM National Relief Fund for Covid-19, Now India start with cryptocurrency, Kindly Donate eth to0xae073DB1e5752faFF169B1ede7E8E94bF7f80Be6.

The series of tweets are given in the picture along with the encrypted codes as mentioned above to loot money from innocents, as per reports.

On August 30, at Paytm Mall, the E-commerce arm of unicorn Paytm, cybersecurity firm Cyble had claimed that hacker group John Wick was behind a massive data breach.”
