Launch of Samsung’s Wireless Charger Trio
Samsung has recently launched the Wireless Charger Trio. It will have the option to charge three gadgets at the same time.
Wireless charging has been available now for quite a while. If you own a flagship smartphone that has been launched over the past three years, it is likely to support wireless charging. Wireless charging is often used to charge some portable devices as well as some truly wireless earphones.
Samsung unveiled the Wireless trio at the Life Unstoppable virtual occasion. However, it didn’t uncover any data on the details of availability. Samsung said the Wireless Charger Trio is a new remote charging arrangement intended to charge three gadgets at the same time, offering ordinary comfort and simplicity.
The remote charging pad will be sufficient to put Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy Watch 3, and Samsung Galaxy Buds Live and charge them simultaneously.
Two years ago Samsung introduced the Wireless Charger Duo, which let you charge two devices at once. The Wireless Charger Trio is designed to act as a device upgrade. The Wireless Charging Trio, Samsung said in a statement, would help people keep up with their demanding lifestyles.
The South Korean tech giant said their relationship with the internet had become even more important this year as customers were seeking to remain more linked with the outside world. In light of this, Samsung said it was launching products that link seamlessly to each other to give the smartest experience.
Price and Compatible Items
The Wireless Charger Trio is priced at EUR 99 (about Rs 7,642).
Since Samsung supports the Qi wireless charging standard, any device that also supports the Qi standard can be powered by the Wireless Charging Trio, i.e. the charger won’t be limited to Samsung items.
Mechanism of Wireless Charging
It utilizes electromagnetic induction to transfer power wirelessly between a wireless adapter and a wireless charging unit. To simplify, the wireless adapter comprises one coil, and the receiver has another.
When you put a Smartphone on a wireless charging pad, the wireless charger sends a signal from its coil that is picked up by the receiver coil in the Smartphone. You can typically see the LED on the wireless charger light up or change color to signify charging. The wireless charging pad has a coil that is generally made of copper and is tightly wrapped.
As a current passes through the coil, this produces an alternating magnetic field. This results in an alternating magnetic field as the current passes through the coil. You can wirelessly charge a Smartphone using a copper coil receiver. This absorbs the alternating magnetic field and generates a current which is then transferred to the battery of the Smartphone utilizing a power rectifier to charge it.
