NASA Defy Anonymous Video, Says “No Announcements about Alien Life”

There are no further declarations to make about the detection of extraterrestrial life, confirmed a spokesperson for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), while complete defying the anonymous video and relentless media reports which claimed that the US-based space agency is going to make some new announcements about the discovery of alien life soon.

One week earlier, a hacking group called ‘Anonymous’ posted an unofficial video on YouTube claiming that the US-based space agency – NASA is on the verge of announcing the discovery of alien life beyond Earth and disclosing the biggest discovery of the century. After the video gets uploaded to YouTube, its hyped the global entire media and reports suggesting NASA’s discovery and announcements started flooding in the market like never before.

However, after coming across such baseless rumours and gossips, the US-based space agency officially confirmed that there are no announcements regarding the findings of alien life beyond earth.

As said by the science chief of NASA, Thomas Zurbuchen in a Twitter post on 26th June, “Contrary to some reports, there is no pending announcement from NASA regarding alien life.”

In another tweet, Thomas said, “Are we living single-handedly in the universe? While no one has a specific answer to this age-old question yet, it is completely baseless to make such rumours about the finding. However, it is true that we are running some high-end missions that are slowly stepping forward and such missions may help us find the answer to that fundamental question very soon. But now, there is no pending announcement from the agency regarding the discovery of extraterrestrial lives ahead of the earth.”

To those unknown, a hacking group Anonymous uploaded a 12-minute-long video clip on YouTube, which exhibited a man wearing a mask in a patent synthesised voice uttering that at a Congressional hearing in April, Thomas Zurbuchen had confirmed that: “Our civilisation is on the verge of discovering evidence of alien life in the cosmos. “And taking all of those differently conducted missions, operations, activities and missions that are specifically intended for searching the presence of alien life beyond Earth into account, we are on the brink of making one of the biggest and most exceptional discoveries in history”, added the masked man.

In the video, the masked man also highlighted about the latest discovery of the Earth-size planets, orbiting the star TRAPPIST-1 as well as several other hypothetical UFO sightings in the skies. Thus far, the video has been watched by more than 1 million viewers, and the waves regarding the discovery of alien life have kept on hyping the scientific world.
